This full renovation transformed a tired 1959 house into a warm, contemporary home designed for effortless living. What was once an almost unliveable, draughty maze of small rooms is now an open, functional space filled with light and comfort.

Architecturally designed pergola was added to the upper level, creating a serene second living zone perfect for enjoying the outdoors in any season. A second entertaining pergola at the rear features a custom concrete benchtop, Canberra wood fire, BBQ and integrated fridge, an ideal space for year-round gatherings.

Inside, strategic wall removals opened the floor plan, complemented by new floating timber flooring, refined joinery, and a striking marble benchtop that anchors the new kitchen. The result is a beautiful, welcoming home that’s a pleasure to live in.

Happy Results, Happy Clients

Chris and his team from CJC Constructions have recently finished a complete renovation of our 1959 house and we are very happy with the outcome. From the initial consultation right through to the final handover, Chris’ enthusiasm and willingness to discuss the renovation, initially with the architect, and with us throughout the renovation ensured that we had the outcome that we wanted.

 Chris takes great pride in his work and the quality of workmanship was outstanding, every detail was finished to a high standard. Chris and his team were easy to work with, punctual, tidy, and respectful of our property at all times.

Communication was excellent. Chris was in regular communication with us; any questions or concerns were promptly addressed.  Unexpected issues, such as termites, were dealt with in a no fuss professional manner and changes to budgets and timelines in relation to those issues were clearly explained. He has followed up after the work is complete to ensure all is well.

 Rhiannon provided excellent and effective administrative skills throughout the project.

 From an almost unliveable cold/hot drafty house with many small rooms we now have a house that is a beautiful, functional home and is a pleasure to live in.
